Post-Publication Discussion

Educator Development Journal (EDJ)

Educator Development Journal (EDJ) encourages academic discussion and scholarly communication after the publication of an article. Readers, researchers, and other members of the academic community are welcome to submit comments, questions, or constructive criticism regarding published articles.

Post-publication discussions must be relevant, evidence-based, respectful, and focused on improving scientific understanding. The journal may facilitate such discussions through letters to the editor, comments, or other appropriate forms of scholarly communication.

1. Submission and Evaluation of Comments

The editorial team will evaluate submitted comments to ensure their scientific relevance, accuracy, and compliance with publication ethics. Comments must be supported by appropriate evidence and expressed in a professional and respectful manner.

2. Authors' Right to Respond

When appropriate, the original authors will be given an opportunity to respond to comments or criticism concerning their published work. The journal aims to ensure a fair and balanced exchange of scientific opinions.

3. Handling Errors and Ethical Concerns

If a post-publication discussion reveals potential errors, concerns about research integrity, or possible ethical violations, the journal will investigate the matter in accordance with its editorial policies and publication ethics guidelines. Appropriate actions may include publishing a correction, an editorial note, or a retraction, depending on the findings.

Educator Development Journal (EDJ) is committed to maintaining transparency, academic integrity, and constructive scholarly dialogue throughout the publication process, including after an article has been published.
