Conflict of Interest

Conflict of Interest Policy

Educator Development Journal (EDJ)

Educator Development Journal (EDJ) is committed to ensuring that all stages of the publication process are conducted fairly, objectively, transparently, and ethically. All authors, editors, and reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence their research, manuscript evaluation, or publication decisions.

A conflict of interest may arise from financial relationships, personal relationships, professional affiliations, academic collaborations, or other interests that could affect, or be perceived to affect, the objectivity and integrity of the publication process.

1. Authors' Responsibilities

Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial interests that may influence the research or interpretation of the results. Such interests may include research funding, employment, consultancy, personal relationships, or other relevant affiliations. If no conflict of interest exists, authors must include a statement declaring that there is no conflict of interest in their manuscript.

2. Editors' Responsibilities

Editors must maintain impartiality when handling submitted manuscripts. Editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and must not make editorial decisions on manuscripts in which they have personal, professional, financial, or collaborative interests that could compromise their objectivity. In such cases, the manuscript must be assigned to another qualified editor.

3. Reviewers' Responsibilities

Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment. Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts if personal relationships, professional competition, financial interests, or other circumstances could affect their impartiality.

4. Disclosure and Management

All relevant conflicts of interest must be disclosed to the journal during manuscript submission or as soon as they become apparent. The editorial team will assess the disclosed information and take appropriate measures to protect the fairness and integrity of the editorial and peer-review processes.

5. No Conflict of Interest Statement

If the authors have no conflicts of interest to declare, they may include the following statement in their manuscript:

"The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest regarding the publication of this article."

Educator Development Journal (EDJ) is committed to maintaining transparency, academic integrity, and public trust in all its publication activities.

Failure to disclose a relevant conflict of interest may result in appropriate editorial action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.
