Permitted and Prohibited Uses

Not permitted: Using generative AI tools to create, draft, or write any part of a submission that introduces new material.

Permitted: Using generative AI tools to correct, edit, format, refine, or otherwise improve the clarity, grammar, and structure of an author’s own original work—provided that the above principles are strictly followed.
