AI Usage Policy

Guiding Principles for AI Use

  1. Authors and peer reviewers remain fully responsible and accountable for the accuracy and integrity of their work.

  2. AI tools must be applied with transparency and responsibility.

  3. AI technology should serve as a supportive aid, not a substitute for human involvement in the publication process.

Permitted and Prohibited Uses

  • Not permitted: Using generative AI tools to create, draft, or write any part of a submission that introduces new material.

  • Permitted: Using generative AI tools to correct, edit, format, refine, or otherwise improve the clarity, grammar, and structure of an author’s own original work—provided that the above principles are strictly followed.
