Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Research (JIMR) uses a double-blind review policy, in which the identity of both author(s)' and the reviewer(s)' is kept hidden until the submitted article is published.
Each submitted article is reviewed by two or three reviewers on the following basis:
The normal turn-around time for screening and evaluating manuscripts is 1 - 2 weeks from the date of submission. The review process may take 1–2 months. Articles accepted with minor or major revisions should be revised as the reviewers’ comments and suggestions. The reviewers will then submit their reports on the manuscripts along with their recommendation of one of the following actions to the editor:
The decision acceptance for publication, amendment, or rejection will be made by Editors according to reviewers' comments, or recommendations. In certain cases, if needed, the editor may send the manuscript to another reviewer for review (Second Round), before making a decision. Publication of accepted manuscripts including the sequence of published manuscripts will be made by the Editor in Chief by considering the sequence of accepted dates and geographical distribution of authors as well as thematic issues.
Englisia Journal opens for manuscript submission throughout the year. Englisia Journal is published bi-annually; in May and November, and only selected papers will be published in each issue.
Englisia journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public as well as to support a greater global exchange of knowledge. In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of peer review, copy editing, layout, and journal management, an article processing charge (APC) of IDR 200,000 (Two hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) applies to papers accepted after peer review. International authors are not subject to the APC.
Englisia Journal does not tolerate plagiarisms. Manuscripts submitted toJournal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Research (JIMR) l will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin plagiarism detection tools. Before submitting to reviewers, all submitted manuscripts are first checked for similarity index by a member of the editorial team. The manuscripts submitted to Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Research (JIMR) must have a similarity index of less than 20%. Englisia Journal will immediately reject manuscripts leading to plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
All articles published in Englisia Journal are published in full open access. All published manuscripts are available for viewing and download from the journal portal for free.
Englisia Journal uses license CC-BY or an equivalent license as the optimal license for the publication, distribution, use, and reuse of scholarly work.
This license permits anyone to compose, repair, and make derivative creation even for commercial purposes, as long as appropriate credit and proper acknowledgement to the original publication from Englisia Journal is made to allow users to trace back to the original manuscript and author.
Readers are also granted full access to read and download the published manuscripts, reprint and distribute the manuscript in any medium or format.
